Small Gifts, Big Joy

Beginning the new academic year, the books and toys donated by Vilai Viet in “Here's a book for our friend” have arrived at a school in a high mountain. These simple yet meaningful gifts helped light up joy and plant new dreams for children in remote areas.

In June 2025, on International Children’s Day, Vilai Viet launched the charity program “Here's a book for our friend”, calling on employees to donate books and other items for disadvantaged children in the highlands. The program received overwhelming support from staff, with hundreds of books, toys, and clothes sent to the company’s headquarters.

All clothing was classified by Vilai Viet’s Trade Union and directly delivered to people in need. At the same time, the company partnered with an organization to select a suitable school. By the time the new school year started, these heartfelt gifts had traveled hundreds of kilometers to reach preschool children in Pu Hồng B, Dien Bien Dong.

“Here's a book for our friend” is not only a charitable activity but also carries the hope to encourage Vilai Viet employees’ own children to learn the value of sharing with less fortunate friends. Books and toys become seeds planted in young hearts, both in remote areas and within the Vilai Viet community, nurturing kindness and compassion.

New books have arrived in the village. And perhaps, new dreams have also begun. This is the motivation for Vilai Viet to continue sustaining community engagement activities, contributing to sustainable development not only for the company but also for society.
