Where Forest Returns 2026: Continuing the Sustainable Commitment
Continuing the journey to create sustainable value for the community, Vilai Viet proceeds to donate more than 400 trees as part of the Where Forest Returns program. This is not only an effort to green the land but also to provide sustainable livelihoods for the locals.
In May 2026, Vilai Viet visited Tan Thanh, Lang Son to donate 400 orange trees as part of the Where Forest Returns program. The event was attended by the Tan Thanh Commune People’s Committee, Vilai Viet, the representatives of Vietnam Natural Resources and Environment Magazine, along with many locals. After donating the trees to households, the representatives joined hands to help them plant various trees. The process was instructed directly by the commune agriculture officers.
Going beyond the effort to green the land, this program aims to create sustainable livelihoods for local communities. Supported by the local government, these trees will form a new agricultural model, building on the proven success of custard-apple farming in the area.
Began in 2025, Where Forest Returns is a tree donation program that Vilai Viet collaborates with Vietnam Natural Resources and Environment Magazine and the local governments. With a conversion mechanism of 30 trees for 1ha of gross floor area built by Vilai Viet, the program is designed to connect the sustainability of the community with the business activity of the company. The trees donated this year were converted from 124.300 m2 of gross floor area finished in 2025 at the Wieson Technologies factory, the T-Global factory, and the Nitto Denko factory.
We believe that true sustainable development comes from creating lasting positive values for society. Moving forward, Vilai Viet will continue to fulfill our commitments to both the environment and the community.
