Lite-On Quang Ninh Project Reaches 1 million Safe Man-hours

In November 2025, the Lite-On Quang Ninh Phase 01 factory project officially reached the milestone of 1,000,000 safe man-hours. To commemorate this achievement, the Design & Build General Contractor Vilai Viet held a safety celebration ceremony, joined by the project team, subcontractors, and the entire workforce on site.Lite-On Quang Ninh Factory Phase 1 Project reached 1 million safe man-hours.

On October 13, Vilai Viet organized the 1,000,000 Safe Man-Hours Ceremony with the participation of project engineers, subcontractors, and workers. During the event, gifts and certificates of appreciation were presented to outstanding individuals for their remarkable contributions to ensuring safety on site.

Commenced in March 2025 with a total investment of USD 690 million, the Lite-On Quang Ninh factory is positioned as one of Lite-On’s key manufacturing hubs in Vietnam. This is the second collaboration between Vilai Viet and Lite-On, and also marks the first partnership between Vilai Viet and Takenaka, one of Japan’s top five general contractors.

The achievement of 1 million safe man-hours stands as a testament to the project team’s dedication to managing and executing a large-scale industrial development. Overseeing thousands of workers on site, Vilai Viet’s engineers and partners have implemented innovative solutions in both construction and operation management to overcome numerous challenges.
