Vilai Viet Joins “Career Orientation for Future Engineers” at Hanoi Architectural University
On June 17, Vilai Viet took part in the Career Orientation for Future Engineers seminar as a Design & Build Contractor for FDI at Hanoi Architectural University. During the event, the company's representatives shared insightful career-sharing sessions and practical guidance for construction students who are about to join the labor market.

Nurturing future talent has always been a key focus in Vilai Viet’s commitment to sustainable development. Beyond training our engineers, Vilai Viet actively collaborates with leading universities in the construction sector, contributing to the development of the next generation of engineers.
On June 18, as part of the Career Orientation for Future Engineers Event, Vilai Viet's team had the opportunity to deliver speeches and engage with nearly 300 students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Hanoi Architectural University.

“To the graduating class, today is not the end of your learning journey. It is only the beginning. The construction industry awaits your bold ideas, your fresh perspectives, and your energy. Whether you choose to build roads, factories, schools, or cities, remember that your work will leave a lasting mark on people's lives.”
At the beginning of the event, Mr. Kenneth Lim, CFO of Vilai Viet, gave an inspiring keynote speech. With over 30 years of global experience, Mr. Lim offered students a broad perspective on the future of construction and shared heartfelt advice for building a successful career.

To motivate and support students on their educational journey, Vilai Viet also launched the Vilai Viet Future Fund scholarship program. In its first year, 8 scholarships were awarded to outstanding students with exceptional academic and extracurricular achievements - a gesture of encouragement for their future endeavors.
The event also created a valuable space for interaction between Vilai Viet and construction students, helping the company better understand young engineers’ concerns and aspirations. It was also a chance to introduce the Vilai Viet Trainee Engineer Program, aiming to attract more young talent to accompany us in growing sustainably and lay the solid foundations of their engineering careers.

Along with the meaningful discussions, Vilai Viet gifted students a compact notebook and a special pencil made from recycled paper that contains plantable seeds. This is not only a present to remind them about Vilai Viet but also a symbolic gesture reflecting the company’s sustainable development vision and social responsibility values.

As a general contractor powered by a dynamic team of young engineers, innovation and adaptability are core elements of Vilai Viet’s culture. Through this event, we hope students have gained a deeper understanding of Vilai Viet and the vital work we do in building facilities for FDI enterprises across Vietnam.
