As part of our mission to become a sustainable general contractor, Vilai Viet is not only committed to in-house engineering training but also actively develops student support initiatives, including the Vilai Viet Future Fund scholarship and the Trainee Engineer Program.

Encouraging Relentless Effort

In today’s fast-evolving construction market, the next generation of engineers must be equipped with a wide range of knowledge and skills, starting right from their university years. Achieving this requires significant time, resources, and above all, continuous effort to balance academic performance with extracurricular development.

Therefore, the Vilai Viet Future Fund was established to recognize and encourage students who are committed to improving themselves through both academic and personal growth. On June 17, 2025, Vilai Viet awarded the first 8 scholarships to outstanding students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Hanoi Architectural University, as part of the “Career Orientation for Future Engineers” program. These students were nominated by the faculty based on their exceptional academic results and active extracurricular engagement, representing a new generation of well-rounded, high-potential engineers.

Notably, among the scholarship recipients were students who had previously interned at Vilai Viet. Reaching out on their own initiative with the intention of learning from a contractor for FDI, these students had the opportunity to train alongside our experienced engineers, participate in live projects, and experience realistic working environments. After completing their internships, they returned to university life with renewed motivation, perfectly embodying the spirit of continuous learning, adaptability, and growth that Vilai Viet promotes.

Nurturing the Next Generation

In addition to the scholarship awards, Vilai Viet also introduced our Trainee Engineer Program at the event, aiming at students seeking internship opportunities at a professional construction company.

This year’s internship program features a customized, structured training roadmap tailored to students’ development goals. After orientation and one-on-one discussions, interns will be assigned to departments under the guidance of dedicated mentors. The internship lasts a minimum of two months and includes hands-on training in areas such as construction methods, design models, project management, cost control, and more.

As a company powered by a young, dynamic team of engineers, Vilai Viet understands that students need not just opportunities, but the right environment to learn, grow, and shape their career paths. The first construction company they work for plays a pivotal role in forming their long-term professional mindset.
