As a general contractor specializing in FDI customers, Vilai Viet has the opportunity to cooperate and work with many prestigious Japanese enterprises. In September 2023, Vilai Viet had our first discussion with Takenaka – one of Japan's leading construction general contractors, getting an important step for official cooperation between the two parties in 2024. 

Discuss to expand opportunities 

In September 2023, Vilai Viet was honored to welcome the representatives of Takenaka Vietnam to visit the ParkCity office and construction site. The meeting is not only an opportunity for the two companies to share about each other's development journey but also help create a more comprehensive perspective on the construction industry in Vietnam, Japan, and global trends.

Realizing the potential for cooperation between the 02 companies, Takenaka sent high-level representatives in Japan, Thailand, and Singapore to discuss with Vilai Viet. Representatives of the two companies visited each other's headquarters and many projects, sharing about the sustainable values that each business can contribute to the development of the relationship between the two sides.

Cooperation to develop 

In Q1/2024, Vilai Viet and Takenaka officially cooperated for the first time in an important bidding project, opening a strong coordination relationship between the two businesses. In particular, Takenaka will provide technical consulting services, Vilai Viet will take on the role of deploying and connecting the domestic market.

Throughout 06 months of bidding coordination, the two sides have continuously met, exchanged and learned valuable experiences. Takenaka's experience in many fields has harmoniously coordinated with the youth of Vilai Viet. Combined with customer understanding and good reputation, the two businesses have successfully persuaded one of the major FDI customers in Vietnam, laying the foundation for a long-term cooperative relationship.

The cooperation between Vilai Viet and Takenaka is one of the proofs affirming Vilai Viet's potential with international partners. Over 1 decade of development, Vilai Viet has been and will continue to promote its reliable values, affirming its position as one of the general contractors for FDI construction trusted by many partners.

In early 2025, Takenaka's representatives in Asia were present in Vilai Viet to attend the project implementation meeting of the two companies. Vilai Viet and Takenaka are ready to work closely together, face all challenges together and take advantage of the strengths of each business to bring the most optimal solutions for customers.
